Please note: when you install the firmware on the console, please keep the power of your console above 35%. It takes more than 20 minutes to install, and it needs to be turned on manually after installation. In addition, when you download the firmware installation package, you don't need to decompress it, and you don't need a folder to put the installation package into the memory card.

Note: betools is only suitable for customers whose console reboots or cannot enter the system. If you just want to update to a stable version, I suggest you use an SD card to upgrade the firmware, thank you.

X18S customers have problems updating the firmware, and betools fails to read or write files. Our engineers are already dealing with related issues. First of all, please confirm whether the read and write permissions of your computer user group are checked. If yes To check, please right-click the firmware file-Properties-Security-Select User Group-Edit-Check the corresponding permissions. Then try again, I think the problem can be solved.

Hello, my X18S sometimes disconnect itself from the change…. it happened twice today during a charge session. What the hell?
After update with the last firmware, in the screen only appears the message “Please insert sd card”.
I tried to chage the sd card, but didn’t work
I tried to acces to factory setting (vol- and power on), and do swipe data/factory settings, but dind’t work.
I tried to acces to facctory settings and reinstall de update.zip, but after the installation the issue is the same.
Please I need a solution.

I’ve been trying for a while to go back to the original software (I’m currently using Lineage) but Betools always gives an error right at the beginning of the process.
For those we meeting how to get out of bootloop, all you have to do is go to recovery mode, have the latest firmware downloaded, go to recovery mode, and install the latest firmware through the sd storage. It worked for me.
If anyone gets stuck in a boot loop , power on the device , as soon as the Powkiddy logo comes on repeatedly press the volume down key and it should reboot , it took me a few attempts but it worked.
